Part of the charm of El Bolson stems from the atmosphere of all the artistic creation in progress and this has been a long-established trend.

Back in the Sixties, musicians and creative artists of the stature of Miguel Abuelo, or Miguel and Maria Jose Cantilo, or the members of the Cofradia de la Flor Solar, all lived here. All of them were exponents of a generation who ardently set about exploring the limits of freedom and art. Seeds sown in those times now bear their fruit.

Nowadays, El Bolson stands out for its wide range of recitals, shows and theater pieces written and performed by local writers, poets, actors and musicians, all of which are shown in different venues throughout the region.
